The National Gallery of Canada and the Art Canada Institute invite you to a lecture on Paraskeva Clark and Canada’s Women Military Painters.
In honour of Remembrance Day, join Christine Boyanoski, author of the new online art book Paraskeva Clark: Life & Work, for a lecture on how this remarkable artist and other women war painters documented Canada’s military action and changed the country’s cultural landscape. Dr. Boyanoski will be in conversation with Charles C. Hill, former National Gallery of Canada Curator of Canadian Art, and Sara Angel, Founder and Executive Director of the Art Canada Institute.
