Kiss & Tell raconte des expériences lesbiennes vécues en exploitant de multiples moyens d’expression, tels que la photo, la vidéo et la performance. L’écriture, la lecture et la publication occupent une place centrale dans leur art, qui est profondément influencé par les critiques et les écrits féministes et queers. En 1991, le collectif publie un livre de cartes postales rassemblant une sélection de photos et de commentaires du public issus du projet Drawing the Line (Tracer la ligne), et en 1994, un livre regroupant essais, récits de fiction érotiques et photographies. Se décrivant comme un « groupe d’écriture à deux », Persimmon Blackbridge et Lizard Jones ont chacune écrit un roman inspiré de leur vécu avec le handicap, mêlant fiction et expérience personnelle.
